Rosie is a shy girl who loves to invent. She seeks out treasures around her to tinker with and turn into gizmos when she’s alone. One day her great-great Aunt Rosie (Rosie the Riveter) comes to visit and has a request for a gadget. When her creation doesn’t quite work the way she’d expected, Rosie feels like she’s a failure. With encouragement from Aunt Rosie, she learns

“The only true failure can come if you quit.”

Pre-school to elementary aged children will be inspired by this story of grit and innovation.
